Chick peas are both delicious and versatile! Great in Indian cuisine, they are also the basis for Hummous when blended with Tahini, lemon, olive oil and garlic.
Directions for use:
Soak the peas overnight in cold water. After soaking, replace water and bring to the boil in a large pan, then simmer for approx 45mins or until soft. At this point, they can be frozen in batches with some of the cooking water, or used straight away.
