There is a shortage of figs due to adverse weather in Turkey

Due to record high costs and poor quality, we have made the decision to not stock dried figs until the quality improves. This is why you will not see them when searching!

Turkey's last crop of figs was much smaller than those from previous years which has meant that there are few good quality dried figs available. Due to only having one harvest a year, the quality of dried figs in the UK tends to decline around September until the new season arrives at the end of October/beginning or November. This year, the harvest was so small that this phenomena happened around April, leading us to make the decision to cease stocking figs until further notice.
