The pasta that looks like rice! Orzo is made from 100% Durum wheat semolina and is often used in Greek cuisine, in salads, added to simple stews or for oven bakes. Also known as Risoni in Italy, the word Orzo actually means 'Barley' in Italian as it closely resembles a grain of barley. Cook like regular pasta if using in a salad, and boil for approx 8 minutes in plenty of salted water. If adding to a stew, or creating a traybake, just ensure you have plenty of liquid in the recipe and cook for a little longer until al dente.Energy | 711kJ / 170kCal |
