While industrial mills strip nutrients during high-speed processing and must add them back artificially, Stoate's gentle stoneground method preserves the wheat's natural goodness. This results in a distinctive creamy colour, the sign of a flour that is 100% natural and completely free from synthetic additives, including folic acid.
