A delicious and highly aromatic blend of ground spices, Zatar actually translates into English as 'Thyme'. It can be used in a variety of ways including mixed with olive oil and spread on flat breads before baking, or as a rub for meat and vegetables, it's also great added to hummous. Traditionally in Jordan, Syria and Lebanon, it is enjoyed at breakfast on traditional strained yogurt.
